BROWNS SUMMIT - Mr. Elmer Lee Mitchell, age 78, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 1 p.m. from the Armed Forces Retirees Club (AFRC), 200 W. Camel Street, Greensboro, NC.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Bettye "Tip" Mitchell, 8721 Friendship Church Road, Reidsville, NC.

Survivors include children, Tonya Davis and Kamaria Evans; sister, Bettye Lou Mitchell; brothers, James Arthur, Walter Howard, Raymond Vernell, Ronald Forbes, Randolph, Charles Alfonzo Leon Matthew and Clayton Scott; 4 grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
