Eddie Franklin Mims, son of the late Willie Henry Mims and Drew V. Gwynn was born on December 14, 1945 in
Caswell County, North Carolina. God granted his weary soul everlasting peace and rest on Tuesday,
November 27, 2018.

As a lifelong resident of Caswell County North Carolina, he attended the local public schools and attended
New Ephesus Baptist Church.  He worked many jobs at Burlington Industries Company "Williamsburg Plant".
He was a member of the Masonic Dan River Lodge #490 and loved hunting and fishing.

Preceding him in death is his brother Earl Mims and his sister, Denise Withers.

The memory of our Beloved shall be treasured by daughter - Nadine Mims Thomas or Greensboro, NC;
grandson - Jordon Thomas of Reidsville, NC; former wife Flossie Mims of Milton, NC; two sisters -
Betty Blackwell of Reidsville, NC and Beatrice Graves (Roy Mayo)of Reidsville, NC; three brothers -
James Mims of Ruffin, NC, William Mims (Clarinda) of Reidsville, NC and Lenny Lee Mims of Warner Robins,
GA; as well as a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and family friends.
