Obituary

Eden, NC- Eartha Faye Hairston, surrounded by her loving family, passed away on December 2, 2015 at Hospice of Rockingham County, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 13602 Martinsville Highway, Cascade, VA 24069 with a visitation 11:30 A.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery

Faye was 62, born on March 20, 1953 to the late Wesley and Nannie Adams Hairston, she was the youngest daughter of the five daughters and five sons born of their prolific union of ten children. She attended John Motely Morehead High School and Rockingham Community College.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her son Brian Hairston of Pelham, NC; four sisters: Bernice Jackson of Reidsville, NC, Mabone Jackson and Arnettie Hairston of Eden, NC and Betty (Philip) Adams of Danville, VA. Three brothers: Levant (Lucy) Hairston of Pelham, NC, Donald Hairston and Kern Hairston of Raleigh, NC. Three nieces: Vickie (Stuart) Lovelace of Danville, VA and their children Trenton, Trevor and Makenzie; LaVae Hairston of Eden, NC; LeVette (Cornell) Chasten and their daughter Ava of Silver Spring, MD; two nephews Jeffrey (Letta) Jackson of Romulus, MI and their children James, Larry, and TyMea; and Stanton Adams (Tamika Shirley) of Chesapeake, VA and their sons Aaron, Alfred and Kaden; Preceding her in death were three brothers Loyd E. Hairston, Gordon D. Hairston and Ronald K. Hairston, one niece Veleatta Adams and two nephews James Pass and Bennie Jackson; one brother-in-law Rev. Clarence Jackson.

A plethora of other family, friends and relations remain. The family requests that memorial contributions in her memory be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, Inc., PO Box 281, Reidsville, NC. 27320.
