Mrs. Dorothy Mae "Dot" Richardson died on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. She was born to the late Carl & Betty Thompson.

Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Locust Grove Baptist Church with a visitation 1:00-1:30pm prior to the service and burial to take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Greensboro, NC.

Dorothy was a very faithful member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church for over twenty five years until her health declined. She served on the usher board ministry for many years.

Dorothy was married to the late Aaron H. Richardson Sr.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, four sons; Frank Thompson (Helen), Aaron Richardson Jr. (Bonita), Melvin Richardson and Carl Richardson, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one sister; Betty Stephens, two brothers; Willie Thompson, Leo Thompson (Linda), one sister-in-law; Lillie Belle Thompson and a host of other relatives and friends.
