Mrs. Doris Ann Russell's Obituary
Mrs. Doris Russell passed peacefully from this life to eternal rest on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Avante at Reidsville.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, November 29, 2014 at McLaurin Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with a visitation 11:30-12:00 noon prior to the service. Pastor Gregory Hopkins will bring the eulogy.
Public viewing will be 3:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 28, 2014 at McLaurin Funeral Home.
Doris was born to the late Kenny Tucker and Lucy Wood Tucker in Rockingham County. She attended the Booker T. Washington High School. Doris was a member of the Red Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening in her past time until her health declined.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one brother; McKinley Tucker.
She leaves to cherish precious memories: one son; Raymond Tucker, three grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two sisters; Annie Ward and Evelyn Tucker, Washington, DC, other relatives and friends.
