Mrs. Donna Jeffries Williamson was born on August 29, 1953 in Caswell County to the late Henrietta Coles and peacefully answered the Master's call on Wednesday afternoon February 13, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Donna was a 1971 graduate of Bartlett Yancey High School. After high school, she began working at Burlington Industries in Reidsville, NC and worked diligently until the plant closed. After which, she furthered her education and attend Piedmont Community College.

On March 27, 1975, Donna married the love of her life Alphonso Williamson. While having no children of their own, over the course of their marriage, Donna and Al loved and cared for many children as if they were their own. Donna joined Gwynn's Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. She loved going to church and serving the Lord in any way she could. She was a faithful member to the church, serving in many capacities as the Church Secretary, President of the Ushers Ministry, as well as working with the Kitchen Committee, until her health declined.

Donna was also a devoted and faithful member of the Order of Eastern Stars, Naomi Chapter #613. She also served in many capacities in the Order of Eastern Star, working for the order to try to better the community around her.

Donna loved her soap operas; The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as a good Lifetime Movie. She also loved listening to gospel music. Donna had a true love for all flowers and plants. She had a green thumb to make them grow that produced an array that brought her peace and many smiles to others, as she was always willing to share with anyone. Not only did she have a green thumb, Donna was a master baker with a passion for cooking. Her famous Honey Bunn Cake and German Chocolate Cake will be missed by many. Donna's humbleness, exemplary kindness, soft spoken voice, and warm, beautiful smile that could fill a room will be sorely missed.

Psalms 84:10
For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness
