REIDSVILLE, NC - Mrs. Donna Marie Wilson Neal, age 65, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at her residence.
A visitation and viewing will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 12 until 6 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at 1 p.m. from the Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 112 Holderby Street, Reidsville, NC. Pastor Crystally Wright Covington, eulogist
The committal and interment along with final rites by the Beauty of Reidsville, Chapter #477, OES will follow in the Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church of God Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.
The family has requested to only receive friends at the home on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 12 until 6 p.m. (407 Hillcrest Street, Reidsville, NC)
Mrs. Donna Marie Neal was born on October 26, 1960 in Reidsville, NC to Emma Herbin and the late James Maynard. She departed on March 11, 2026 at her residence.
She was a faithful member of Bethel A.M.E. Church.
For many years, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Curis at Reidsville Transitional Care & Rehab Center.
She was a member of Beauty of Reidsville Chapter #477, OES.
Donna was a strong, powerful, God-fearing woman who loved everyone and would take in a stranger and help anyone in need. She took pride in caring for others. Donna stood strong by her mom until she couldn't anymore. She spoiled her grandchildren and all they had to do was call "Granny".
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by siblings, Debra Wilson, Karl Wilson, Sr., and Ronell Simmons, step-daughter, Michael Neal.
Donna left behind her husband of 32 years, Glenn Neal; her eldest son, Warren T. Roach, Jr. and his sister, Latoye Britt; youngest son, Devonta Neal (Sade' Williams-Neal), step-daughter, Kaniqua Blackstock; mother, Emma Herbin; sisters, Doris Royster (Harold Royster), Gail Wilson, Mona Blackwell (Clayton Blackwell), Natalie Herbin Vaughan (Clyde Vaughan), Hannah Cunningham (John Cunningham), Pattie Maria Nunnally (Terry Nunnally) and Rosa Chandler; brothers, James Wilson, Sr., Walter Timothy Wilson, Larry Maynard, James Maynard (Coretta Maynard) and Alfred Maynard (Mary Maynard).
Special grandchildren, Brittany Roach, Lyric Neal, Draylin Neal, Sage Neal and Embree Smith; a host of relatives and friends.
