REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Dollree Lawson Lane, age 66, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025 at Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

A public viewing will begin on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 11 a.m. from the St. Thomas Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 633 NC-150, Greensboro, NC. The family visitation will take place at 10:30 a.m. Pastor, Bishop L. Bernard Florence will preside and Bishop Tyrone Hunter, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in the the St. Thomas Chapel Church Cemetery, Greensboro, NC.

Dollree was born in Reidsville, NC on November 24, 1958 to Robert and Inez Lawson.

She was educated in the public schools and graduated from Reidsville Senior High School.

For many years, she was employed at Procter & Gamble.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Trick" Junior Lawson.

Survivors include husband, Harvey T. Lane; mother, Inez Slade Lawson; brothers, Irvin Lawson (Debra), Larry Lawson (Christine) and Randy Lawson; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Walker (Desi), Diane Lane, Gwendolyn Bacote, Sharon Lane Ingram and Renae Lane McGhee (Loren); brother-in-law, Steven Andre Lane (Ava); nieces, Kristal Lane, Chandice Lane, LaQuenta McGhee Rawls, Brandi Lawson, Asia Lane and Aniya Lane; nephews, Lee Lawson (Rudy), Kelvin Broadnax, Darius Bacote and DaQuan McGhee; a host of relatives and friends.
