Mr. Derrick Emanuel Weeks passed away Friday, May 27, 2016.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Jerusalem United Holy Church. Visitation will be one half hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Greenview Cemetery.
Public viewing will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Derrick Emanuel Weeks was born November 26, 1959 to
Mable Weeks and John B. Troxler. He departed this life
on Friday, May 27, 2016. He was a graduate of Reidsville
Senior High, class of 1978 and enlisted in the U.S. Army
from 1978-1980. Until his death, Derrick was employed
with First Baptist Church in Greensboro NC and Kids
Services, Inc. in Fayetteville, NC. He was a member of
Jerusalem United Holy Church.
Survivors are: wife, Shirley Weeks, Reidsville, NC;
daughters, Victoria Weeks, Greensboro, NC, Angel Weeks,
Siler City, NC; step-daughter, Valencia Weeks, Reidsville,
NC; son, Derrick, Jr. (Jocelyn), Greenville, NC; grandson,
Dominique Durham; sisters, Victoria (Vickie) Williamson,
Greensboro, NC, Ann Joyner (Gene), Reidsville, NC,
Tracey Troxler, Henderson, NC, Ida Hillibrew, Hartford,
CT and Johnette Murphy (Henry) Dallas, TX; brothers,
Norman Milton (June), Indian Trail, NC and Gregory
Robertson, Reidsville, NC; god-daughter, Ashley Hairston,
Reidsville, NC; aunt, Savannah Morgan (Sam), Reidsville,
NC; a very special and close friend Carolyn Williamson, a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.serving the family.
