Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church, Ruffin, NC with a visitation 1:30 P.M. prior to the service and burial at New Ephesus Baptist Church, Ruffin, NC.

Demeattrie attended the Caswell County Schools. She was married to the late Sherman Williamson. She enjoyed sewing and making beautiful quilts. She also enjoyed planting flowers, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Demeattrie joined the New Ephesus Baptist Church at an early age, but also attended the Mt. Herman Baptist Church with her daughter.

Along with her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son; Joe Louis Williamson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, sons; Eugene Blackwell (Charlene), John Sherman Williamson (Ruth), daughters; Jennie Mae Winchester, Maggie Watkins, Mable Gunter (Larry), all from Caswell County, Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, special nephew; Robert Blackwell(Mary), Reidsville, NC, other Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
