REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Debra Anne Lane Russell, age 73, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024.

Debra was married to Mr. James Russell for 53 years who passed 5 days prior to her death.

You may sign the register beginning on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

A combined service will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 11 a.m. at McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC. Reverend William C. Hairston, eulogist.

The family will receive visitors at 957 Brooks Road, Reidsville, NC.

Debra was born on March 9, 1951 in Rockingham County, NC to Lawyer Lane and Lidia Marion Harrison Lane.

She educated in the local public schools and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School, class of 1969.

For many years she worked banking. In her leisure time, she loved reading and spending time with her husband.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Cecelia Pass, Birdie Pass, Patricia DeJournette and Lawyer Earl Lane.

Survivors include siblings, Asenath Williamson, Janie Mullins (Henry), Lawrence Lane (Deborah), Christine Lane, Raye Lane (Deborah) and Kippi King; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
