Mr. Darnell Michael Long Passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Truevine Tabernacle Baptist Church, Reidsville, NC with a visitation 12:30-1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Darnell was born on July 7, 1966 to Edward and Linda Long, in Rockingham County. He was a graduate of Reidsville Senior High Class of 84. After graduation he joined and served the United States Navy.

He was employed by Reidsville Public Services.
Darnell, affectionately known as "Dog Food", was truly blessed with many friends. He was loved throughout the community. Darnell had a big heart and such a laid back personality that drew people to him. Lots of times you would find him watching his favorite team, Pittsburg Steeler's play and enjoying the company of family and friends. He will be truly missed but forever in our hearts.

He leaves to cherish his memories, Parents; Pastor Edward Long and Linda Long, Children; Dexter Lamar Long, Travis Darnell Long and Jasmyn Jade Long, sisters; Sharon Herbin (Ronnie), Shawn Long, Yvonne Booth (Jeff), half sisters; Teresa Watson, Katrina Thomas, Alvina Williamson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
