Mr. Dale Brian Lester, age 67, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024 at Annie Penn Hospital after a brief illness.

A viewing was held privately on Tuesday, February 13, 2023 at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Honoring his wishes, his remains were donated to the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and the Bowman Gray Center for Medical Education in Winston-Salem, NC.

He was born in Troy, NY (Rensselaer County) on July 8, 1956 to Norman Lester Sr., and Hazel Kathrine Gorman Lester.

He was a former machinist and was always good with his hands.

He leaves behind his children, Derrick Lester, Jennifer Fountain and Matt Oris; siblings, Kathleen Lester (caretaker); Norman Lester (Betty), Darlene Halford (Joe); grandchildren; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
