CHARLOTTE - Ms. Constance Laverne Jones, age 77, formerly of Reidsville, NC passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 at Presbyterian Medical Center.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, June 6, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC. A reception will be held from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, 101 Express Drive, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 12 p.m. from the McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will take place at 11:30 a.m. Reverend Reginald Coleman, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Constance was born in Rockingham County, NC on October 6, 1947 to Eddie Robertson and Rita Mae Jones (step-father Charlie Hamlet).

She is survived by her daughter, Valerie King Frost (Ramon Sr.); sisters, Marilyn Hamlet Byrd and Antoinette Hamlet; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
