Mrs. Cleo Elnora Cobb Redd, daughter of the late Lucy Garrett Cobb and the late Hildred Cobb, was born May 7, 1932 in Yanceyville, North Carolina. On Sunday evening January 5, 2020 she peacefully transitioned from this earthly life to one of everlasting peace and rest.

Funeral services will be at 12:30 P.M. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at First Baptist Church, Reidsville, North Carolina with family visitation one half hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Reidlawn Cemetery.

Cleo was a resident of Reidsville, North Carolina where she attended the local schools.  As a young adult, she moved to New York City, where she met and married the late Robert Allen Redd.

She was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank of New York for more than thirty years, after which she retired and returned home to Reidsville to aid in the care of her ailing mother. She attended and later joined High Rock Baptist Church, where she attended faithfully until her health declined.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters - Retha Kaylor, Veola Price, and Mary Keesee; and brothers- Eugene Cobb, Hosea Cobb and Oscar Cobb.

She is survived by sisters: Katherine Cogdell (Joseph), and Bessie Cobb; brother: Richard Cobb, all of Reidsville, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
