Obituary

GREENSBORO - Mr. Clarence Bernard Bolden, 67, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at his residence.

Public viewing will begin on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church of God, Inc., 600 McWalker Road, Reidsville, NC. Pastor, Elder Melvin McLean, Jr., will deliver the words of comfort. The family visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Clarence was born September 11,1956 to the late Robert and Catherine Bolden in Rockingham County, he went on to his eternal home on July 19, 2024. Clarence graduated from Reidsville Senior High School and went on to work in textiles until his health wouldn't allow him to work. Clarence was a member of Benaja Mount Zion Holiness Church of God Inc.

In the Mid 1970's Clarence met his dedicated wife Paula (Paulette), they went on to marry and produce two daughters from this union. Clarence believed in working hard and taking care of his family and installed education and hard work in his daughters. In 2021, he became a Grandfather and Kenzi became the apple of his eye. Clarence could be found checking on his siblings on Sundays and talking about his favorite NFL team The Dallas Cowboys with his nephews. Before his health issues stopped him Clarence would travel to Classic Car Shows or could be found in his shop working on his own Classic Cars.

In addition to his parents, Clarence is proceeded in eternal life by his daughter LaVonda (Nikki), sister Doris, brothers, Robert, Melvin(Pop), and Larry.

Left to carry on his legacy are wife, Paula; daughter, Dionza; granddaughter, Kenzingten; brother, James (Mary Lee), sisters, Odessa, Mary, and Brenda (Charles); brother-in-law, Vincent (Gwenda), sister-in-laws, Carolyn and Jonnie; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
