Ms. Ciara Patrice Wiley, age 34, transitioned to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA after fighting 3 years of breast cancer.

Public viewing Friday, December 22, 2023 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Garrett's Grove United Methodist Church, 191 High Rock Road, Gibsonville, NC. The family visitation and public viewing will begin at 12 p.m. Pastor Phyllis Coates will officiate and Pastor Timothy Fitzgerald will deliver the words of comfort.

The committal and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Ciara Patrice Wiley was born on October 29, 1989. She came into the world with a presence for the world to see.

Ciara was preceded in death by her dear aunt Beverly Wiley, whom we are sure is holding her in her arms. Blessed to be in the presence of many family and friends who have gone on before her.

Ciara was a 2008 high school graduate of Reidsville High School, where she participated in the band and theater program. She continued her educational career at Winston- Salem State University majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies while being a member of the Red Sea of Sound Marching Band and participating in numerous beauty pageants.

After graduating college she migrated south to the sunshine state of Florida, where she met a host of many friends that were her family away from home. She loved the warm weather and the beach. She loved to travel and experience life to the fullest.
She continued her educational endeavors  by receiving two Master Degrees in Healthcare Administration from Purdue Global and Higher Education from Kaplan University. She loved her job working with students as a college counselor for Ultimate Medical Academy located in Clearwater, Florida.

Ciara loved her family with all of her heart. She would travel many miles for holidays, concerts, games and recitals. She believed in family and what it stood for in her life. She would rarely be seen without her little shih tzu Boscoe, a woman's best friend, who took on the persona of his mother, as he was with her for 14 years.

She leaves behind the legacy of all of her love to her Grandparents, Arthur Wiley (Edith),  Aunt, Bridgett Wiley, Cousins, Travis Willis (Brooke), Aunt, Kim Wiley (Thomas), Father, Patrick Wiley (Schanen), Mother, Kimberli Johnson (Darrell), Uncle Steve Wiley (Rhonda), Siblings, Emoni Wiley, Eboni Farmer, Devin Johnnson and Donavon Johnnson, Cousins, Tia Wiley, Brittany Wiley, Erica Wiley, Joshua Campbell, Steve Wiley Jr, Sydney Wiley, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
