REIDSVILLE - Mr. Charlie Adams, age 83, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2029 at his residence.

Public viewing will begin on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 3 p.m. from the McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will take place at 2:30 p.m.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 618 Winstead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Charlie was born in Rockingham County, NC on August 12, 1941 to Robert Keesee and Louise Adams Steeple.

For many years, he lived in New York where he worked as a chef.

Charlie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and special friend.

He loved sports and was a diehard Atlanta Braves and the Kansas City Chiefs fan. He once played for the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team in Lakeland, FL.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Adams; daughters, Sabrina Bowen and Angela Sharpe; son-in-law, Timmy Graves; grandchildren, Lauren Grady (Brittney), Delois Woods (George), Bradley Durham, Makayla Mitchel (Travis) and Kaleb Graves; great-grandchildren, Destiny Bowen, Skylar Garner, Carson Mitchell and Asher Mitchell; special friends, Michael "Moonie" Stubblefield (Beverly), The Logan Family, John Logan (Yolanda), William Logan (Joanne), Richard Logan (Cynthia), Shirley Logan, Sandy Williams, Lois Turner, Sandra Brim, Geraldine Kimber, Arlene White, Bowsier Harris (Joy), Lorenzo Tucker, Henry Combs, Timber Thomas, June Sellars, Penny Howard and Tonette Neal.

He was preceded in death by bestfriend, Donald Tucker Sr.
