REIDSVILLE, NC - Mr. Caesar Eric McNebb, age 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Gibson House Ancora Compassionate Care Hospice.

A viewing will begin on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 from 12 until 6 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 23, 2026 from the St. Mariah United Holy Church, 127 McCoy Road, Reidsville, NC. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the service at 11 a.m. Elder Marcus D. Miller will officiate and Bishop Harry L. Cohen will serve as eulogist.

Mr. Caesar Eric McNebb, affectionately known to his family and friends as "Dirty Red," entered into eternal rest peacefully on July 15, 2026. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 23, 1947.

Caesar attended Booker T. Washington high school and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and after his military service, he was employed at Zarn and Equity Meats until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Mariah United Holy Church where he was a born-again believer, he loved the Lord and was never ashamed to share his faith through both his words and his actions.

Caesar will be remembered for his warm smile, and the joy he found in bringing family and friends together. One of his most cherished traditions was hosting his annual Fourth of July cookout using his smoker that was proudly spray-painted with the name "Jesus".

He leaves precious memories to his wife, Carolyn Williams McNebb; his devoted son, Kevin Washington; his stepdaughter, Barbara Dickerson. 

He is also survived by his loving siblings: Richard Brown and Telitha McNebb Brown (sister), Charles Walker and Ruthanne McNebb Walker (sister), Eric McNebb (brother) and Helen McNebb, Ed McNebb (brother) and Janet McNebb, Voyd Gunter and Roseatta McNebb Gunter (sister), Ray Smith and Alice McNebb Smith (sister).

In addition to those who preceded him, he leaves behind cherished memories with his two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Caesar was preceded in death by his parents, Eric and Ruth McNebb; his grandparents, Walter and Alice McKinnon; his beloved daughter, Surprina McNebb, Elfred Lawrence Williams, Jr. his stepson, who is survived by his wife, Debrea Williams, and his brother David McNebb and sister-in-law, Jackie McNebb.
