Brittany Redd

REIDSVILLE, NC - Ms. Brittany M. Redd, age 39, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Wesley Long Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

A viewing will begin on Friday, October 2, 2026 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026 from The United Holy Church of America Inc., General Headquarters, 5104 Dunstan Road, Greensboro, NC. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:15 p.m., followed by the service at 2 p.m. Elder David Henderson will officiate and Pastor Bill Russell will serve as eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in Greenview Cemetery, with a repast to follow at Jerusalem United Holy Church in Reidsville, NC.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the home beginning on Monday from 2 until 7 p.m. - 1025 Piedmont Street, Reidsville, NC.

Brittany Michele Redd, loving daughter of Stanley L. Redd and Pamela B. Redd entered into this world on December 19,1986 and peacefully transitioned on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was a 2006 graduate of Reidsville Senior High School and attended Guilford Technical Community College. Brittany was a CNA for many years, who cared for her clients and treated them as if they were her family. She later became an employee of Cone Health (Annie Penn) as a Nurse Tech, where she remained until her health declined.

Brittany was an active member of Jerusalem United Holy Church, where she participated in the junior choir, sunshine band, YPHA, youth praise team, young adult choir and mass choir. In 2026, she later joined Harvest City Church in Greensboro, NC.

Brittany was a person who loved the Lord, was a giver and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. The joy of laughter filled any room she walked in. She was a very humble person and had a remarkable ability to connect with both children and the elderly. The profound impact she had on others was evident throughout her life.

Family members who preceded her in death are; grandparents, Oscar & Parnell Redd; Charlie & Brona Broadnax; aunt, Delphine Hamlet; uncles, Kenneth Redd and Marvin Broadnax; cousins, Broncade Bethel and Deleigh Redd Martin; godmothers, Savannah Morgan and Cozetta Johnson.

Those left to hold her memory dear in addition to her parents are; brothers, Kevin T. Redd and Stanley (Michael) Redd; aunt, Deborah Thomas (Thurman), Carolyn Regina Hooper; uncles, Oscar Redd, Jr. (Brenda), Darryl Redd, Perry Broadnax and Ron Hamlet; sister- cousins, Anitra Dillard, Alicia Williams, Melissa Hamlet and Tia Crespo; auntie-cousin, Vickie Williamson; god aunt, Cassandra Evans; godmothers; Rosetta Badgett and Brenda Fountain; bonus grandma, Mrs. Mamie Williams; godchildren; Kaylah Redd, Kyleigh Wilson and Mila Wilson; special loving friends, Phillip Lawson, Linda Wilson, Kenya Fountain, Brittany Wilson, Alainie Anglero, Teron Foster, Dionte Sharpe, Kim Pickard, Shaune Adams, Tosha, Sierra Baldwin and Rich; a wonderful support of amazing relatives and friends.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
