Brenda Ann Miles Springs, aged 78, peacefully transitioned on August 2, 2025. Brenda was the youngest of four daughters of the late Verna Lee Jackson Miles and Roberta Woods Miles.

Brenda was fun-loving and always kept everyone laughing. Joking around and poking fun was her way of showing her love for everyone. She truly was the life of the party.

Her infectious laugh will be a cherished memory for all her family and friends. She loved to dance and never missed an opportunity to dance when she heard music that moved her. Brenda also loved cruises and planned several family vacations involving cruise ships.

Most importantly, Brenda was a woman of faith. She knew where her journey would continue once she left her physical body and made it known that she did not want to hang around without quality of life. She was a member of Martin's Chapel Baptist Church where she was a Senior Choir Member, a Missionary, an Usher, and she served on the Kitchen Committee. Brenda was a graduate from Central High School in the class of 1965. She worked for Burlington Industries and Cone Health, and after retirement, worked for two funeral homes: Blackwell Funeral Home and McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home.

Brenda leaves a legacy of love and cherished memories with her devoted husband of 53 years, Stephen C. Springs of Burlington, North Carolina; her beloved son, Courtney B. Springs (Delana), and her beloved daughter, Melissa Springs Marshall (Chris); her beloved granddaughters, Ashley Springs Hester (Jorey), Courtnee Shantae Springs, and Trineece Womack; and one goddaughter, Yvette Miles. She is also survived by three sisters: Kathlene Miles Raiford, LouVerta Miles Holman, and Rosa Miles Bigelow; two aunts: Inez Gant and Ernestine Hurdle (Charlie); brothers and sisters-in-law: John (Von) Springs, Sylvester Springs, Neil (Bob) Satterfield, Mary (Andrew) Cohn, Winnie McAdoo, and Beatrice Springs; and will be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, cousins, and a vast circle of friends.
