Mrs. Audrey Mae Johnson Hairston's Obituary
Mrs. Audrey Mae Hairston passed away Wednesday morning, October 2, 2013.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Trinity Holy Tabernacle Church with a visitation 2:30-3:00 P.M. prior to the service and burial in Greenview Cemetery.
Audrey was the daughter of the late George E. Johnson and Camilla King Johnson.
She was a faithful memeber of Trinity Holy Tabernacle Church. Audrey was a very friendly person with a beautiful smile. She loved to sing and enjoyed attending Church services, but most of all she LOVED THE LORD!
She was preceded in death by her husband; Richard Lee Hairston, sons; Earl Harris, Fankie "Chuckie" Harris, sister; Eldress Geraldine Nicholson.
She leaves to cherish her memories: daughters; Patricia Poteat, Mary Ann Harris, Reidsville, NC, sons; Otis Harris, Stoneville, NC, Darryl Harris, Ellis Harris (Kay), Reidsville, NC, Moses Troy Harris, Los Angeles, CA, four grandchildren she raised; Shirley Harris, Ronald Poteat, Donald Poteat, Molonda Poteat, a total of 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, sisters; Dottie Ruth Brown, Barbra Ann Johnson, Earlee Yancy,all of Reidsville, NC, brother; George C. Johnson, New Haven Ct.,and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
