Mr. Ashton T.D.C. McLaurin, age 63, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. McLaurin will lie in repose on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Elm Grove Baptist Church, 1302 US-29 Business, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will begin at 12 p.m. Pastor, Reverend C. Bradley Hunt, II and Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Clarence Johnson will deliver the words of comfort.

Masonic rites followed by the committal service and interment will be held in the family plot of Greenview Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

"Tom or Tom-Tom" as he was affectionately called was born on August 15, 1960 in Rockingham County, NC to the late Albert H. Clark, Jr., and the late June Doris McLaurin Jeffers.

Tom was a 3rd generation owner of the former McLaurin Funeral Home established in 1931 by his grandparents, Lorenzo H. McLaurin and Lillian H. McLaurin. Currently, he served as manager of McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home after the business was sold to Mr. Gerald A. Harris in May 2023.

Tom was loyal and dedicated to this community. His legacy lives on!
