After attending the public schools of Caswell County and graduating from the Caswell County Training School, Mrs. Moore married and began a family. During her tenure, she enjoyed providing life-saving and life changing care to all of her clients.
Artie was affectionately known as "Sunshine" to all who knew her best, not just because of her curly locks, but because of the joy and rays of happiness she brought to everyone she met. Upon moving to Charlotte, NC, she received much joy in fellowshipping with the Oak Grove Baptist Church of Harrisburg, NC. Her church family served as an anchor and blessing to her and her family.
Mrs. Moore was an avid gardener and delighted in planting her vegetables and flowers. She took even more delight in sharing them with friends and neighbors, whether it be through gifts of plants or cooking harvested vegetable crops.
Additionally, Mrs. Moore was known for her quit wit, sassy demeanor, and as a fashionista. She remained forever young and relished in enjoying every minute of life for herself and everyone she loved. A life well-lived, she was truly an erudite woman who will be missed.
