Mr. Arthur Dillard Harrison was called to his Heavenly Home on March 10, 2016 at Hospice of Rockingham County.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Benaja Mt. Zion Church of God Inc., with a visitation 1:30-2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Bishop Felecia Kellam will bring the eulogy and burial will follow in the Benaja Mt. Zion Church Cemetery.

Arthur was born in Rockingham County to Joseph Harrison & Waxie Anna Harrison. He attended the public schools and was employed at White Oak Cone Mills for forty years before he retired.

At an early age, he gave himself to the Lord and joined the Benaja Mt. Zion Church of God Inc. Arthur loved to visit the sick. Arthur was funny and loved telling funny jokes. He also had a passion for weightlifting, swimming and exercise, and a love for baseball caps.

Arthur was preceded in death by his Father, Mother, a Brother, a Son and Daughter.

His memories will forever live on in the hearts of his loving wife; Mary Alice Johnson Harrison of the home, four sons; Joe Harrison(Tamela) Ridgeway, VA, Curtis Harrison(Valleesha), Reidsville, NC, Shawn Harrison(Shamela), Jamestown, NC, Maurice Harrison (Lazar Wilson), Reidsville, NC, brother; Joseph Harrison(Colleen) and a host of Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
