REIDSVILLE, NC - Mr. Anthony Leon Neal, age 56, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Beacon Place Hospice in Greensboro, NC.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, November 23, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. from the McLaurin-Harris Memorial Chapel, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC. Reverend Kenneth Peterkin, eulogist.

The family will receive friends at the home, 1523 Sherwood Drive Apt 4, Reidsville, NC.

Anthony was born in Rockingham County, NC on February 17, 1969 to Leon Neal and Margaret Morehead Neal.

He was educated in the Rockingham County Schools and graduated from Reidsville Senior High School.

In his spare-time he loved fishing, dancing and hanging out with his friends. He also was great with flowering.

For many years, he worked at the former BTR in Reidsville, NC.

He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence and Mary Morehead; paternal grandparents, Clyde and Daisy Neal; uncles, Stanley, Randy and Marvin Neal.

Survivors include children, Kourtney, Tory, Leon, Shabrika, Jason, Shakaia and Ashanti; parents, Leon and Margaret Neal; siblings, Leotis Neal, Stephanie Stacey, Leslie Dickerson (James) and Leonard Washington; uncles, Kenny Neal, Ricky Neal and Clyde Neal (Ann); aunts, Charlotte, Melissa and Theresa (Bobby); great-aunts, Mary Johnson, Betty Reece and Cynthia Waddell; 5 grandchildren; a host of relatives and friends.
