Obituary

RUFFIN - Mrs. Annie Delona Henderson Williamson, age  83, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, NC.

Public viewing will begin on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 12 until 8 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 6, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Sassafras Grove Baptist Church, 3254 Old NC Hwy 86 N, Yanceyville, NC. The family visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Pastor Gary Williams, eulogist.

Interment will follow in New Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 8939 US-158 W, Ruffin, NC.

Mrs. Annie was born in Caswell County, NC on January 26, 1941 to the late Ellis Wilson Henderson and the late Annette King Henderson. She was married to the late Willie "Doc" Williamson.

She was a lifelong member of Sassafras Grove Baptist Church until her health declined.

Annie was one of a kind and full of laughter and joy. she never met a stranger and would always speak to everyone. She will truly be missed, but is now free of pain, sickness and sorrow.

Annie enjoyed watching soap operas, family feud and completing word search puzzles during her leisure time.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia Jones and Alberta Davis; brothers, Ellis Henderson, Jr., and Curtis Henderson.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Priscilla Williamson, Kenneth Williamson, Karen Williamson, Charlie Williamson, DaVonda Williamson; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; siblings, Keron Snipe of White Plains of NY, Barbara Graves of Pelham, NC, Wendell Henderson of Pelham, NC, James Henderson of Winston-Salem, NC, Raymond Henderson of Reidsville, NC; a host of other family and friends.
