GREENSBORO - Mrs. Anne Elizabeth France Maynard, age 80, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, NC.
Public viewing will begin on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 1 p.m. from the Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church of God, 600 McWalker Road, Reidsville, NC. The family visitation will take place at 12:30 p.m. Dr. Melvin T. McLean, eulogist.
The committal and interment will follow in the Benaja Church Cemetery, Reidsville, NC.

Anne Elizabeth France Maynard was born October 22, 1944 in Reidsville, NC to the late James France and Inez Phillips Hill.
In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her grandson, Bryan K. Maynard Jr., affectionately known as BJ.
Anne received her education from Booker T. Washington High School in Reidsville, and attended North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC.
Anne married Walter Rodgers Maynard Sr. on October 31, 1964, and to that union, five children were born. Walter Jr. (Rod), Bryan Sr. (Keith), Sonya, Wayne, and Lee Sr. (Craig).
Throughout life, Anne held several jobs. Edgerton Funeral Home (now Johnson & Sons), Burlington Industries, Sears & Roebuck, Gilbarco, United States Postal Service, and Specialized Packaging.
Anne was affectionately known by many as "Puddin." She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt, and niece to many. She was loving and took care of everyone as if they were one of her own. Anne accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She valued time spent with family and you could always come over and catch her watching an episode of Law & Order: SUV, crocheting a blanket, riding around running errands, or taking a quick road trip.
