REIDSVILLE - Mrs. Anna Belle Hayes Wilson, age 65, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Public viewing will begin on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 12 until 7 p.m. at McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home, 721 East Morehead Street, Reidsville, NC.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel Hill Progressive Primitive Baptist Church, 3360 Guerrant Springs Road, Ruffin, NC. The family visitation will take place at 2:30 p.m. Elder Ernest Cannon will preside and Elder John France, eulogist.

The committal and interment will follow in the Chapel Hill Church Cemetery, Ruffin, NC.

All other times, the family will receive friends at the home, 802 Snead Street Apt B, Reidsville, NC.

"Ma Anna" or "Black Pearl" as she was affectionately called was born in Rockingham County, NC on April 15, 1960 to the late Charles Harris Hayes, Sr., and Lillie Mae Blackstock Hayes.

For many years she served as a Home Health Aide.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Nicholas Harris Jarmel Hayes and Lawrence Lee Hayes; grandson, Chatwoine "CJ" Hayes; brothers, Ronnie Lee Hayes and Charles Harris Hayes, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Elsie Hayes and Belinda Hayes; brother-in-law, Joe Scales.

Survivors include children, Anthony E. Hayes, DeAnna Quenell Hayes, Bro Lovez Hayes and Leyona Mantae Hayes; special friend, James Slade; brother, David Leon Hayes; sister, Linda Mae Scales; grandchildren, Lawrence Hayes Jr., David Hayes, Franquan Hayes, Markel Walker, Zykeema Adams, Antiana Adams, Zamir Hayes, Ezekiel Hayes, Izaiah Hayes, Nickala Conner, Nickellion Womack, Ty'King Price, Tavion Flippen, Tatyana Williams and Shaquan Hayes; great-grandchildren, Yandy Hayes, Y'Onanye George, Danielle George, Kayden King and Brendan Dennis; a host of relatives and friends.
