Mrs. Amy "Chee Chee" Rucker Turner, 70, passed away October 10, 2023.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church of God, Inc., 600 McWalker Road, Reidsville, NC.

There will be no public viewing on Friday, October 13, 2023. All floral arrangements should be delivered to the church on Saturday.

"Chee Chee" was born in Reidsville on May 10, 1953 to Marshall Rucker and Ida Costner Rucker.

She was educated in the Rockingham County Schools System and graduated from Reidsville Senior High School class of 1971. For many years she worked at Ball Metals.

Survivors include children, Christopher R. Turner, Etollia Turner Wilson (David), LaTonya Turner; brother, George Rucker (Beverly); grandchildren, ReMariae Turner, Deontrez Turner, Brittney Martin, Corbin Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Jeremiah Dickerson and Jade Moore; 6 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Marshall Rucker and Sharon Scales.
