Addie "Galloway" Harris, 91 of Red Bank, New Jersey passed away on 21 November 2016 in Reidsville, North Carolina at Anne Penn Memorial Hospital.

Addie was born in Eden, North Carolina on January 02, 1925. She graduated from Douglas High School in Eden, North Carolina. The military guided her path to New Jersey where she received her certification as a Nursing Assistant working for over 30yrs at the Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading, church and going on bus trips to Atlantic City.
Addie married Charles E. Harris of Reidsville, North Carolina on February 2,1950.

She is survived by children, Cheryl H. Austin, Charlene Golden and Katrina aka Tina (Mike) Lewis, one sister Florence G. Watkins, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Addie is preceded in death by her parents Carrie and Jack Galloway and her husband Charles E. Harris, five sisters and two brothers.

The family visitation at 12:30pm preceding funeral services at 1:00pm Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Elm Grove Baptist Church. Reverend Dr. Shirley J. Decoster of Bethel AME Church will be officiating. Final resting place will be Shoreland Cemetery in Hazlet, New Jersey.
